We include a no-cost dedicated IP with the Semi-dedicated 2 server set-up. A dedicated IP address will let you quickly set up an SSL certificate for your web site or register your own personal name servers that will resolve to your private IP address.

The dedicated IP is freely available to use once you get access to your Site Control Panel. Furthermore, if you want more dedicated IPs, you can request as many as you want at a promo rate through the Site Control Panel.

Due to the specificity of our semi-dedicated plans, the SSH access privileges won’t give you server root privileges. You will be able to interact with your data files, databases, email and almost everything involving your web sites, but you aren’t able to change the server’s settings.

Commonly, a data base can exclusively be contacted by sites that have been generated in the same exact web hosting account as the data base itself. However with our Remote MySQL feature, you can provide database admission to virtually any hostname of your choice. This may be very useful if you have many different online stores and want to share a customer data base among all of them
